The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025) the expansion of cooperation with the leading Vietnamese multidisciplinary corporation, T&T Group. In addition, a partnership agreement was signed between EOC Vietnam Pharmaceutical Co. (EOC) and the Russian Good Distribution Partners LLC (GDP). According to the RDIF press service, the primary objective of the partnership is to establish a joint center to promote pharmaceutical products from Russian and Vietnamese companies in both countries’ markets.
EOC and GDP specialize in providing medical equipment and supplies. The cooperation agreement supports the export of pharmaceutical substances and technology transfer. It also facilitates the entry of Russian and Vietnamese manufacturers with specialized products into both countries’ markets.
“Our countries have significant potential for substantial growth in mutual trade, and many Russian and Vietnamese companies are eager to enter each other’s markets. RDIF focuses on investing in innovative projects in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The agreement we are announcing today will contribute to technological innovation development in these areas in both Russia and Vietnam,” said Kirill Dmitriev, RDIF’s CEO.
Last month, the head of the fund announced that the RDIF and the Vietnam National Vaccine Center had signed an agreement to create a joint investment platform for the commercialization of developments in biomedicine and healthcare. The platform’s activities are aimed at supporting joint research and development of new technologies in the healthcare sector for their further commercialization, as well as co-investment, technology transfer and the supply of innovative vaccines.
